We've made it to Vietnam! I'm currently in our hotel in Ho chi Minh City and looking forward to some sleep. We've lost 6 hours today and with very little sleep we're getting an early one ahead of our tour tomorrow!
Early impressions are of a buzzing vibrant city. Carly's mentioned the number of scooters has dropped since she was last here 10 years ago but they still rule the road. Families of 4 on one moped aren't uncommon!
Both flights went smoothly and we made our connections in good time. The prebooked airport transfer made things a lot easier and we've got a lovely little first room. Bed now for some proper travelling tomorrow.
